Judging of 2000 entries has started
March 2, 2018
More than 70 judges from four countries are now judging more than 2000 entries to the Voyager Media Awards. Judges have already remarked on the quality of many of the entries. In the words of one judge: “Discovering writers I’ve never read before. Brilliant stuff here. Very difficult decisions ahead.”
Once judging is complete, the list of finalists will be posted on the Voyager Media Awards website in early April. The list of judges and their biographies will also go up on the website in April.
Entrants will not know who has co-judged their specific category until awards night on Friday, May 11.
The awards dinner will be held at Cordis, Auckland (formerly The Langham). Tickets will go on sale in late March.
In their 45th year, the awards are owned and hosted by the NPA with Voyager Internet as the premier sponsor.
